Watchlytes Primary

Creativity, Inspiration and Achievement

15 and 30 Hour Nursery Spaces Available

We are very proud of our lovely Nursery setting and we are sure your child will make a fantastic start to their education here!

Our Nursery offers 15 hours and 30 hours of high quality Free Early Education, subject to eligibility. The 30 hours free childcare is designed to help working families by reducing the cost of childcare and supporting parents back into work or to work more hours, should they wish to do so.  We believe that the additional time in our setting will also help to further develop your child’s readiness for Reception.

Should you wish to take advantage of this, our Nursery will offer 30 hours of high quality early education between the hours of 8.45am and 3.30pm. Monday to Friday.

Please note that we run separate morning and afternoon sessions (15 hours) on a full time basis (i.e. attending for half the day all week, either mornings or afternoons).

Our children settle extremely well and enjoy their learning at Watchlytes. Above all they feel nurtured, happy and confident. Our learning environment has been described as "phenomenal!" and boasts an incredibly large and well-resourced outdoor provision which our children love.

Parental Feedback

  • 'I can’t recommend Watchlytes nursery enough. They have been fantastic with both of my children, my son who attended in 2018/2019 and my daughter who attends currently. The entire EYFS team are caring and nurturing and go above and beyond to create fantastic learning opportunities for the children. Their outdoor learning environment is incredible and certainly a favourite with my two children! The Watchlytes community as a whole is welcoming and a pleasure to be a part of.'
  • 'Our daughter is currently attending nursery at Watchlytes and we couldn't be happier.'
  • 'Watchlytes Nursery in under 6 months has made such a difference to Jude. He skips into nursery every morning excited to see his teachers and friends, and when it comes to pick up time he is reluctant to leave as he has had such a good day. It’s wonderful to see. The staff are so nurturing to the children, taking the time to get to know each child as an individual. As a family we are very happy to be a part of the Watchlytes Community.'
